Calumet City, IL –Dolton resident Richard Clayton, 59, smiles as he reflects on the past few months of the “best year” of his life.  Clayton recently got married on June 11th and now looks forward to taking his new wife Kelley (Cunningham) Clayton and his mother to the see the Chicago Cubs play at Wrigley Field on September 16, 2016.  Clayton was just informed that he won a social media raffle held by John Kasperek Co., Inc., a local certified public accounting (CPA) firm in Calumet City.

“This is the first time in my life I have won anything, and it feels great,” said Clayton.  “I wasn’t expecting it at all!”

Clayton has worked with the Dolton Police Department for the past 29 years through the Emergency Service & Disaster Agency (ESDA), where he serves as a Lieutenant.

 Kasperek, an avid Cubs fan, said the free raffle was part of the firm’s ongoing outreach to give back “to the community in which we work and live.”  John Kasperek Co., Inc. has also made community service plans in conjunction with the Illinois CPA Society’s CPA Day of Service on September 23rd, among other outreach initiatives.

 Clayton added, “It’s been a wonderful year, the best of my life.  I am really looking forward to enjoying the game with my family.”
